| Hi everyone and welcome
to the new boy 40 pages of the
website. We have tried to make navigation easy - there is a local
menu at the bottom of the page - to get back to the main website index
click 'home'. Andy's
new album is released on the Floating World label in Europe, ALT Recordings
in Australia, and True North in Canada. He played the whole thing
himself, starting with his guitar asking 'Tell Me Why', and ending
up with an orchestra 'Trying To See God'. Andy has sent us some thoughts
on the songs and the process of writing and recording them. Just click
the boy's head on the left for these and a look at more of the art
from the album. We hope you find the album both refreshing and moving.
Andy has written 14 new songs about changing continent, the war on
terrorism, childhood memory, italian girls on mopeds - amongst other
things. |

The first limited edition
EP from the album tell me why features
two songs from the album along with two unavailable on the European
album - 'Let It Be Me' telling the tale of the journey from Dublin's
Ha'penny Bridge to the Sydney Harbour Bridge, and 'Canadian Greyhound',
written on the journey from Edmonton to Calgary watching a bad Jim
Carrey movie. Both the EP and the European album are multimedia editions
and include video clips - 'Tell Me Why' on the first EP, filmed in
Brisbane. The album includes the clip for 'The Fortune Teller's Right',
filmed across the NSW border in Byron Bay - again filmed by David
Grusovin. The bus will lead to you to the lyrics and pics from the
EP.

The second limited edition
EP from 'boy 40', the fortune teller's right
features radio versions of two songs from the album plus
three unavailable anywhere else. 'Remember Love'is an out-take from
the album writing sessions at Stuart Crichton's London studio, and
'Invisible' is a solo acoustic demo also recorded in London. Perhaps
the highlight of the EP is a seven and a half minute remake of 'Hunger
For Your Love'. Multimedia content is an interview with Andy filmed
in Melbourne and the 'Fortune Teller' clip.
Of course you can order the album from us any time. If you click on
the boy's head on the left you will find more of Stu Spence and Marco
Bakker's photos, plus Andy's comments on the album songs. |
