Hi everybody and welcome to the Andy White 2005 tour page. Last updated at the end of the 'Boy 40' world tour on November 20th, 2005.

Starting off in the US and Canada in September, the tour crossed to the UK and Europe at the start of October, and concert dates went through to the end of November.

For much of the tour Radoslav Lorkovic accompanied Andy on accordion and piano. The two had a blast this year, playing everywhere from the WOMAD finale to backroom bars to a medieval walled garden in Segovia.

The two Ontario concerts were with Stephen Fearing and Colleen Hodgson - The Tall Friends - with Rad back on board for the UK shows. In Holland on October 7th Andy was backed up by the band Wenne led by Ed Klein Goldewijk. Tot ziens, guys!

So, Andy will be taking a break from touring until spring or summer 2006, though there are two shows in Melbourne for the Commonwealth Games on March 17 and 18 booked already. A new album is in the pipeline. Or the air. Or ... you know what I mean.

By the way, it looks like the koala is on his summer or a winter break, depending on where you are living. He fell out of the tree after a bunch too many eucalyptus leaves, so the possum still rules the treetops.

Andy has finished his tour diary for 2004 and those of you in the world wide white club will have read it. We have posted it here along with all of Andy's previous tour diaries. Now I just have to ask him for the 2005 version!

For those of you looking for a live concert recording ... world wide white membership includes a free CD every year unavailable elsewhere. The first of these was a live recording of Andy's solo London concert on January 19, 2002. The CD is called a million miles and you can have a look at the cover here.
