Andy White Biography

The Official Andy White fanclub

The official Andy White fanclub is called the world wide white.

Every year the fan club offers you something of Andy's which isn't available anywhere else - we've had albums, a DVD compilation and last year a spoken word CD - this year it's a poetry book.

Andy's second volume of poetry Stolen Moments is only available in Brisbane Australia, where it was published, so we had got hold of a limited edition of signed and numbered copies for you. The first 100 have a special glossy cover.

Last year's world wide white item was a CD - Some Kind of Belfast', based around an 'in conversation' evening about Andy's book '21st Century Troubadour' held in a Belfast bookshop, No Alibis.

Andy talks in depth about the book, touring, his history, and sings songs from 'Songwriter' and his back catalogue, as well as reading a couple of extracts from the book.

The CD also features recordings of Andy reading poems from his soon-to-be-reissued poetry book 'The Music Of What Happens' and a song he recorded especially for the CD called 'Some Kind of Belfast', which is where the CD gets its title.

The world wide white CD before that was a mini-album troubadour, you can have look at the cover here and listen to tracks on Andy's myspace page.

The year before, the exclusive fanclub release was video, a DVD compilation of Andy's video clips from 1985 until the present. Click here to see a short version of Andy's notes on the songs and link to the 2007 www pdf flyer.
